Happy Holidays!!

Merry Chrismahaunakwanzica to all kiters and members of the CKA, we're so stoked about the progress we've made thus far with our two preliminary events and are even more stoked to host bigger and better events in the year to come!!!!

Here's a little run down of what's to come in the New Year

South Eastern Regional Tour
January
SE Tour Stop #3
(First non-conflicting forecast for St. Pete Beach, that has any sort of west in it)
The event will be held at Pass-A-Grille Beach, just a stones throw from the Triton Kiteboarding Beach house. The event will be hosted by the USF Kite Club in conjunction with Triton Kiteboarding. Local sponsors will include The Hurricane Bar and Restaurant, Watersports West, and Triton Kiteboarding. All other tour sponsors will be present as well. We will be putting together a short downwind speed race, a boarder-x, and a freestyle expression session. Registered College Riders and Event Organizers will need $12 to cover the Steak and Shrimp Buffet to be held by the Hurricane on their rooftop bar across the street from the event location. Contact Chase Kosterlitz at 678-429-7258 for sponsorship opportunities or to register email TritonKiteboarding@yahoo.com all riders who have registered for the past two events will be automatically registered.

February
SE Tour Stop #4
(First non-conflicting forecast for Delray Beach that has any East in it)
Event will be held by Lynn University in conjunction with Best Kiteboarding and Triton Kiteboarding. All other tour sponsors will be present, stay tuned for more info to come on this event.

March
SE Tour Stop #5 (Regional Championships and National Qualifiers)
March 15th-March 25th SPRING BREAK, KEY WEST
Event will be hosted by Paul Menta and The Kitehouse in conjunction with Triton Kiteboarding. This will be the second annual Key West event and undoubtedly on of the most fun of the year. We will have an array of kite related activities, competitive disciplines, parties, bands, and giveaways. More info will be hitting the press on this event in the next month but deffinitly stay tuned because THIS IS NOT ONE TO MISS!!!!

May
COLLEGIATE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
MAY 7th-11th United States Wind and Water Open (formerly Velocity Games)

Email any questions, registrations or inquery's to TritonKiteboarding@yahoo.com

We'd love to see the new year bring some new initiative and have some west coast or northern schools put together some events. Thats a challenge by the way, email for info, just don't be the college riders who slack all year to come to the nationals to try and strut your stuff only to knock other kites out of the sky at the start because you've never tried a boarder-x! We need more national press guys, so make it happen.
Again Merry Chrismahaunakwanzika and your all a bunch of Ho Ho Hoes!!!!!
-CKA
